Q: What are the advantages to being an introvert?
A: There are too many to list in this short space, but here are two seemingly contradictory qualities that benefit introverts: introverts like to be alone—and introverts enjoy being cooperative. Studies suggest that many of the most creative people are introverts, and this is partly because of their capacity for quiet. Introverts are careful, reflective thinkers who can tolerate the solitude that idea-generation requires. On the other hand, implementing good ideas requires cooperation, and introverts are more likely to prefer cooperative environments, while extroverts favor competitive ones.

perfect is someone who respects the fact that you love movies more than just about anything. they don’t talk to you too much during the movie, especially if you’re in a theater. they understand when you insist that you wake up early to see it at southdale instead of the riverview because southdale has big screens and digital projection and good sound and you care about stuff like that because you like to experience your movies rather than just watch them. they let you ramble about the movies you love, rant about the ones you hate, just shut up and nod when you start explaining some tiny little behind the scenes factoid that they couldn’t give two shits about, and are happy to indulge you when you want to share one of your favorites with them.
